Specific: ἀπεκτειναντε τον λεοντα - you killed the lion

Generic: οἱ ἀνθρωποι... - 'men' (i.e., men in general)

Nominal: οἱ ἀνδρειοι ἀει τιμωνται - the brave are always honoured (with an adjective)
              οἱ φυγοντες ἐδιωκοντο - the fugitives were being pursued (with participle)

Pronominal:  αἱ μεν φιλουσιν αὐτον, αἱ δ'ουκ - some women love him, others don't

Possesive: ἀπωλεσα τον φιλον - I lost my friend

Prepositional: μισουμεν τας ἐν τῃ νησῳ - we hate the women on the island

Adverbial: δια τί τους παλαι τιμᾳς; - why do we honour the men of old?

Gerund: το ἀδικειν οὐποτε αἰνειται - doing wrong is never praised

Change of subject: τους Ἀθηναιους ἐζητουν· οἱ δε ἐξεφυγον - they were seeking the Athenians, but they [the Athenians] fled

Redundant: ὁ Θεμιστοκλης παρεστιν - Themistocles is here
