Genitive

Gen: του, των · λογου, λογων - της, των · τιμης, τιμων - του, των · φυλακος, φυλακων

Possession: φιλω την θυψατερα αὐτου - I love his daughter

Origin: Νεοπτολεμος του Ἀχιλλεως - Neoptolemos, son of Achilles (cf. surnames)

'Object of Intent': αὐτους φονου ἐδιωχαν - they pursued them for murder
                            ἐπιθυμια χρηματων - desire for money

Partitive: πολλοι των στρατιωτων - many of the soldiers
               ἀριστος Ἀχαιων - best of the Achians

Exclamations: φευ, της μωριας - oh, what stupidity!
                        του σχηματος - what a figure! (i.e. what [an example of] a figure)

Time 'within': του αὐτου ἐτους - within the same year
                      το πλοιον της ἐπιουσης ἡμερας εἰσι - the ship will come during the present day

Quality: ἀνδρος σοφου ἐστι - teh mark/ role of a wise man is...
             ὁδος τριων ἡμερων - a journey of three days

Gen. Absolute: ἀναγκαζοντων των ἀρχοντων - with the Archons compelling...

Seperation: παυονται του ἐργου - they ceased from work[ing]

Comparison: καλλιων ἐστι της ἀδελφης  - she is more beautiful than her sister

Agent/ Material: ἀπεθανε ὑπ'ἐμου - he died at my hands [by me]
                          οἰνου πιμπλησι τον κρατηρα - he filled teh krater with wine

Value: πολλου ἀξιον ἐστιν - it is worthy of much
           ἱερα τετταρων ταλαντων - offerings of four talents
